We have many opportunities for individuals looking to support Hawthorne and our students.

One way is to Volunteer at School Events. Visit EVENTS page for upcoming Event.

Another way is to Join a Friends of Hawthorne PTA Committee:

- Annual Auction/Fundraising

- Communications (Community Outreach, Prospective Student Events, Room Representative Program, Volunteer Program, PR, Legislative, Web Design)

- P-Patch Garden

- Health and Safety (i.e. Help building a budget for a traffic improvement project at the school entrance)

- Grantwriting

- Arts Visioning (brainstorming and implementing improvements/enhancements to our performing arts stage/equipment)

- Events

There are many other ways to show your support for your Hawthorne student or neighborhood school like attending a School Event, chaperoning a Classroom Field Trip, volunteering in the classroom or helping your child's teacher sort homework or hang artwork.
